Green beauty wishlist – top 10

Green beauty is something that’s grown on me in the past couple of years. With top quality brands like Tata Harper and May Lindstrom changing the way I think of natural beauty, my green beauty wishlist has been growing bigger and bigger. I thought I’d share my top 10 with you all. I’ve included approximate NZD prices as actual cost will often depend on the exchange rate.

Kypris Moonlight Catalyst

Kypris Moonlight Catalyst
Aprox $96.00NZD
Multiple  YouTube and blog reviews tell me this is a must have. I feel like this could be a gentle/natural alternative to my Sunday Riley Blue Moon (which I love). It uses pumpkin enzymes to exfoliate.

Vinter's Daughter Active Botanical Serum

Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum
Aprox $260.00NZD
This serum is raved about in the YouTube/instagram/blogging skincare community. I have a few, more simple oils and serums already in my collection, but I’d be interested to try this supercharged version. It contains 22 active botanicals/oils. The only problem is the price tag!

 Tata Harper Reparative Moisturizer

Tata Harper Reparative Moisturizer
Aprox $145.00NZD
I love the two Tata Harper products that I currently own and I want more. Next on my wish list is the reparative moisturiser, as I’d love to have a good, natural moisturiser in my routine. I don’t know if I could ever justify the cost, but maybe I’ll have to take the plunge the next time I can find it on sale.

OKOKO Cosmétiques Skin Brightening L'ÉLIXIR DE CLARTÉ

OKOKO Cosmétiques Skin Brightening L’ÉLIXIR DE CLARTÉ
Aprox $73.00NZD
This brand has gorgeous packaging that reminds me of May Lindstrom – only more luxe.  I’d pick this product to try first as I love the sound of an exfoliating, brightening elixir. It contains AHAs and hyaluronic acid.

Raw Kaya Organics Organic Mandarin & Honeysuckle Cleanser

Raw Kaya Organics Organic Mandarin & Honeysuckle Cleanser
Aprox $32.00NZD
I’d love a citrus smelling face wash, and this one is water-free. I find water-based skincare can be dehydrating (as water easily evaporates), but this cleaner has an aloe base. I think it would work well as a morning pick-me-up cleanser.

Farmacy Perennial Picks Skincare Discovery Kit

Farmacy Perennial Picks Skincare Discovery Kit
Aprox $65.00NZD
Farmacy is a brand I’ve heard good things about, so I’d be keen to try a couple of products. I’m particularly interested in the Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm, which comes in the Skincare Discovery Kit. It has cichoric acid, which helps protect the skin by supporting collagen, and a variety of oils.

Lilfox Jungle Glow Rainforest Honey Enzyme Cleanser and Mask

Lilfox Jungle Glow Rainforest Honey Enzyme Cleanser and Mask
Aprox $105.00NZD
This cleanser/mask has honey, white clay, cacao, and rosehip oil. It seems like a possible May Lindstrom Honey Mud alternative, and the ingredients sound good enough to eat.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle MoisturizerJuice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
Aprox $100.00NZD
I like my Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk, and I’d be interested to try something else from the brand. This moisturiser sounds interesting, and comes in at $40.00 cheaper than the Tata Harper one. It has a pump jar, and seems to have a waterless, fruit stem cell and fruit juice base.

Leahlani Champagne Serum

Leahlani Champagne Serum
Aprox $45.00NZD
I love my Leahlani toning mist, and I’m keen to try a few more things from the brand. Ive heard Caroline Hirons mention the champagne serum favourably, and I’d be interested in adding a new serum to my stash. It has grapeseed oil, rosehip oil, and jojoba oil.

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator
Aprox $44.00NZD
Caroline Hirons and co. love this face mist and their praise has landed it on my wishlist. It is aloe based (and waterless), and includes a lot of plant oils. It won’t break the bank, and you can also get it in a smaller travel size.
